Hoy tuvimos un excelente día de aprendizaje profesional en Bryant Webster y agradecemos el tiempo que nos brindaron. Tenemos nuevos planes de estudio en el edificio, lo que nos dio tiempo para planificar en conjunto. Gracias por su apoyo. Hay cambios importantes del Departamento de Dotados y Talentosos respecto al proceso de Evaluación Universal de DPS. En lugar de evaluar a todos los estudiantes de Kindergarten, 2º grado y 6º grado, ahora se evaluará a todos los estudiantes de 1º y 5º grado. Todos los estudiantes de DPS y sus hermanos menores de 18 años pueden ser atendidos en todas las clínicas de salud escolares ¡GRATIS! Adjunto encontrará un folleto con información sobre cómo acceder a estas clínicas. Pueden realizar exámenes físicos de rutina, exámenes físicos deportivos, vacunas y atención para enfermedades infantiles comunes. Si su hijo tiene dolor de garganta y fiebre, a menudo puede obtener citas el mismo día para pruebas de estreptococos.
También contamos con una clínica virtual aquí en Bryant Webster cuando la enfermera está en la escuela (lunes, miércoles y jueves). Recursos sobre inmigración para las familias
Las clases de inglés como segundo idioma (ESL) para adultos comienzan el 25 de agosto de 2025. Es necesario que los estudiantes asistan a escuelas de DPS o residan en el condado de Denver para asistir. We had a great day of professional learning today at Bryant Webster, and we are also grateful for the time. We have new curricula in the building and this gave us time to some collaborative planning. Thank you for supporting us in this. The year is off and running and I am thrilled with how our teachers have begun. We have such an amazing staff at Bryant Webster.

There are important updates from the Gifted and Talented Department regarding the DPS Universal Screening process. Instead of screening all students in Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 6th grade, we will now test all students in 1st grade and 5th grade. Families of incoming Kindergarten, 2nd, and 6th grade students in the fall of 2025: Please click here to have your child included in the testing this fall.

Here at Bryant Webster we believe that every child is an artist and the art room is their studio. This approach empowers students to explore their interests, make artistic choices, and develop a deeper understanding of their creative journey culminating in a quarterly art show. I look forward to giving your child/children opportunities to express themselves, solve problems and develop confidence in discovering their unique artistic voice.
All DPS students and their siblings under 18 can be seen in all of the school based health clinics for FREE! Attached is a flyer that provides information on how to access these clinics. They can perform routine physicals, sports physicals, vaccines and care for common childhood illnesses. If your child has a sore throat and fever, you can often obtain same day appointments for strep tests.
We also have a virtual clinic here at Bryant Webster when the nurse is at school (Mon-Wed-Thur). Below is a hyperlink to sign up for these clinics and this consent is active for a full four years! We contact parents if we think they may benefit from a quick visit for routine medical care such as Tylenol, Ibuprofen or Allergy medicine. They can also fill out Asthma and Allergy Action plans and send those inhalers and Epinephrine pens to the school or your pharmacy.
Attention Bryant-Webster Families! We are thrilled to launch our fundraising campaign, “Support Our Student Athletes” with the goal of raising $10,000 to enhance our middle school athletic programs. Your support will provide our student-athletes with essential equipment, uniforms, and training opportunities, helping them grow both on and off the field.
