We’re excited to announce the below opportunity for our DPS middle school female student-athletes interested in flag football. Please read below and pass along to your students and families.
Denver Public Schools is hosting a Girls Flag Football 101 camp for female middle school students to kick off the DPS Middle School Flag Football season at All City Stadium on Saturday, October 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This camp will be coached by women’s pro players from two teams in Colorado: the Rocky Mountain Thunderkatz from Colorado Springs and the Mile High Blaze in Denver. They are both semi-pro women’s tackle football teams in the Women’s Football Alliance (they also play flag football in their offseason). The coaches from the Katz and Blaze are excited to share their knowledge and love of football with the next generation.
The camp is free and open to middle school girls within Denver Public Schools looking to expand their skills at their specific position or as an introduction to flag football. Please register your student(s) at the link below as we will have limited space. We will send you an email confirmation the week of the clinic to confirm your attendance.
Your student(s) should wear athletic clothing and tennis shoes or cleats. They should bring their own water bottle that can be refilled at the stadium. We will supply flag football belts, but they can wear their own if they have one. They can also wear a mouthguard if they have one.

Sign up for a committee! We are looking for people to help lead committees and to help on the day of each event. The PTA Board (Jenny, Jerome, Heather, and Courtney) will help all committees run smoothly – you are not alone in making the event(s) happen. Become a member of the PTA. You are not required to become a member of the PTA to help with events and to come to meetings. Immigration Resources for Families
We at Bryant Webster acknowledge the potential hardships posed by the delay of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for the month of November. For those who are able, please donate to the DPS Food Security Fund. This will support our BW community, as well as help to ensure every Denver Public Schools student and family has access to the meals they need.

The City and County of Denver’s Department of Human Services (DHS) will continue processing SNAP applications and renewals to make sure benefits are processed in a timely fashion as soon as the government shutdown ends. SNAP beneficiaries will receive SNAP benefits retroactively once the government reopens. DHS strongly encourages families to continue submitting SNAP paperwork in the meantime.

The Balarat Merch Store is open again!
The web store will be open for a LIMITED TIME and will close on November 10th. After the store closes, Lab7 will begin ordering and printing the gear. Items will not be delivered to your school until after Thanksgiving break, when Balarat staff will deliver all orders.

ESL classes for adults start on August 25, 2025. You must have students attending DPS schools or live in Denver county to attend. Classes and services are located at Trevista Elementary at 4130 Navajo Street at no cost!
